Just wanting to share an interesting site I found today. It is a social studies news site. It appears to be adjusted for BC curricular content, and has news flashes and sections which are appropriate for the different grades and courses of social studies. It contains domestic and international news. It also contains news for various organizations such as human rights groups, the UN and NATO, which would help students understand what those organizations do. Also included are media analysis activities.
