Random resources...
Hello all! Well I just started my government unit in SS 11... a bit out of my element but my class is awesome and seems to be totally excited about anything I bring up so they're running with it ;)
I just thought I'd share a few things I've found recently:
1. A video of all of the major conflicts the US has been in during the 20th century (perfect for Hist 12 and some of SS 11)...told through food!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-yldqNkGfo
2. A Canadian project by some very talented 20-somethings, http://www.takingitglobal.com/
There are educator links on there, and check out the homepage videos, especially the "make some noise" one as it explains the creation of it. I'm getting really involved with it and bringing my class along for the ride, as is another high school in my district.
